It is generally safe to wear heated clothing for extended periods, but please make sure you are using temperatures that feel good on your skin, take breaks, and stay hydrated to ensure comfort and safety.

Yes, this jacket comes with a detachable hood, providing you with the option to wear it with or without the hood based on your preference and the weather conditions.

Our heated apparel performs reliably in temperatures below 32℉/0℃. However, for extended exposure to sub-zero conditions, we advise having an additional battery on hand to ensure a continuous heat source.

Battery

We are happy to confirm that our jackets come with a battery and charger included. If you haven’t received yours, please get in touch with our support team for further assistance. 

The battery life of a heated jacket can vary significantly depending on several factors, including the jacket's heating settings, environmental conditions, etc...On the lowest heat setting, the battery can last anywhere from 6 to 12 hours. Batteries tend to deplete more quickly in cold weather, please take this factor into consideration with estimating the heating time you have. 

Charging time will depend on several different factors such as current charging level, battery condition, etc. We estimate it will take around 4 hours to fully recharge an empty battery.

If your battery is damaged or starts to swell, discontinue use, remove it from the device, and store it in a cool, dry place away from flammable materials. Please contact us at support@meltivo.com for further assistance. 

The size of the battery is: 3.8 x 1.1 x 2.6 inches (98 x 28 x 66mm), weight is about 6.9 ounces (198g).

It's not uncommon for batteries to experience some level of self-discharge when not in use. Please recharge it again after a longer resting time. 

If you plan not to use your heated jacket for a while, please disconnect the battery from the jacket and keep it in a dry place. For rechargeable batteries, especially before long-term storage, it's a good practice to partially charge them to around 50% of their capacity and recharge them every 3-6 months to maintain their health and performance.

A warm battery during or immediately after use is generally normal. If you notice that the battery is unusually hot or if it becomes hot while not in use, it could be a sign of a malfunction or a damaged battery. In such cases, it's advisable to discontinue use, disconnect the battery and contact our support at support@meltivo.com for further assistance. 

The battery zipper pocket and the power cable are inside the apparel on the left side. 

Troubleshooting

 1. Ensure that the battery is properly charged and securely connected to the jacket. Sometimes, the battery may not be adequately charged or connected, causing the jacket not to heat.

2. Verify that all wiring and connections between the battery and the heating elements within the jacket are intact and undamaged. Loose or damaged connections can disrupt the correct operation of the heating function.

3. Extreme cold temperatures can affect battery performance. Consider keeping the battery warm in an inner pocket to help maintain its charge.

4. If you've checked all the above factors and the jacket still won't come on, please contact our support team at support@meltivo.com for further troubleshooting. 

First, please check if the jacket is adjusted to its highest setting for maximum warmth. Additionally, it's essential to ensure a snug fit as the heating components work best when in close contact with your body. If the jacket fits loosely, the heating elements may be further from your body, which can affect how warm you feel. Adjusting both the settings and the fit should help you experience the full warmth and comfort of your heated jacket.

Once the jacket is turned on, you can cycle through the different heating modes by single pressing the control button.

Absolutely! If you wish to hide the LED light on the power button while using the jacket, simply press the button twice in rapid succession. This will turn the light off, while the jacket still being in use or being heated. Pressing the button once will restore the light on the button.

We understand that customs and import fees can be an additional concern when making international purchases. Our jackets are available only for purchase on our website, and it is not sold in physical stores.

If you are not 100% happy with your purchase, you can get a return/refund 30 days from the date the order was delivered, simply provide us via email (support@meltivo.com) with your order number, full name, and product feedback. Item must be unworn, in new condition and in original packaging. Please refer to our Return/Refund policy for all the details and requirements.

Your order will be shipped from our warehouse or other fulfillment centers in the US or other countries. The shipment of the order will be allocated based on the stock level, the shipping method, and the shipping locations to choose an optimal shipping route.

Customers assume the responsibility for any return shipping fees incurred during the return process. Return shipping labels are not provided by us.
